HEALTH & SAFETY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Here at Funny Bunny Face Painting, we take all measures necessary to ensure our services are safe and appropriate for all. Our artists have public liability insurance and we can provide risk assessments if required. Please find our health & safety terms and conditions below.

1. We only use FDA and EU compliant water based paints, specifically made to use on the face and body. They are hypoallergenic and have anti-bacterial properties. All our glitter is cosmetic grade, skin-safe glitter

2. To avoid cross-contamination a clean sponge is used per person and the brush water is changed regularly. We also clean and disinfect all our equipment after each booking.

3. Unfortunately we are unable to paint:

• Under age 3

• Anyone who does not wish to be painted. This includes sleeping children and those with severe learning difficulties.

• Anyone who, in the artist opinion, appears to be suffering from any skin conditions, allergies, infections,contagious diseases, open wounds, bruises or head lice. Please note this list is not exhaustive and subject to the artist discretion.

• Any signs, symbols or designs that could be deemed offensive in any way.

• Faces and areas of skin that are not clean.

4. Although incredibly rare, we cannot guarantee a reaction will not take place. We accept no liability for this. If there are any concerns, please discuss with the artist before being painted.

5. Please inform the artist of any skin sensitivity so a skin test can be conducted on the inner arm. The artist will be happy to go ahead and paint if there is no reaction after 20 minutes.

6. Parents/guardians are responsible for their minors at all times whilst in the painting area. We cannot be held liable for any injuries sustained due to the reponsible adult negligence.

7. Our products and equipment are not to be touched by anyone other than the artist. This is to ensure our strict health and hygiene standards are upheld. Parents/guardians are responsible to keep small children away from our products and equipment at all times.

8. Water based paints can be removed with soap and warm water. Some colours may temporarily stain the skin. Baby oil or baby lotion may help lift the stain. Clothes may stain if they come in contact with certain coloured paints. Please note we cannot accept any liability or responsibility if this happens.
